Jiao (???)
Jan 25, 2009 - vor Xichang
This chinese cyclist also pushed his old, no-gear, low-tech bicycle more then 10 kilometers and 1.000 meters uphill - on icy road and cold weather. He was always smiling! Next day we met him under "normal conditions" again. He is doing a kind of cycling round Sechuan. Really a positive and stand-through cyclist. Sorry that we did not understand your name.

We met Samo, a very nice and quite chinese cyclist, in Jiugan and cycled together for 3 days to Zhangye. We together survived some of the coldest nights in the desert and enjoyed the Great Buddha Temple in Zhangye. Samo is heading north-east to the russian border near Vladivostok. Good luck!
